Message 1. SPL's coilovers were researched and tested extensively (like all of the SPL suspension parts) by the guys at SPL parts.
2. Although KTS makes the coilovers for SPL parts (and powertrix and stance if what you say is correct), the specifications for the details like the spring rate and rebound are made by SPL for the guys at SPL to sell as their product.
3. While the korean company HD systems, may be manufacturing the coilovers (I don't know if this is true, but Kuah tells me everything comes from Japan), they sure did not design them. The buyer specifies their own details and HD systems builds to order.
4. Although I can't confirm this (and don't plan to pursue it) the spring rates are the only evidence I have that powertrix copied the SPL design, as implied by Guapo.
5. It also doesn't help that powertrix is know for copying designs and selling them at a lower price point.

Not accusing anyone of anything, just trying to lay out the facts as I see them.
